Policy on Protection of Personal Information

1. Tomen Devices collects personal information of customers, shareholders, individual investors, job applicants, executives and employees of the company, from the individuals themselves, for the purposes described below, and uses it within the scope of the purposes of collection, but does not use it for any other purpose. Also, the personal data collected is in principle not shared with a third party without the permission of the person concerned.

   1. (1) Tomen Devices uses the personal information received from customers for business dealing with, and to provide services for, the customer.
   2. (2) Tomen Devices uses the personal information received from shareholders for preparation of its Shareholder Register and for share management.
   3. (3) Tomen Devices uses the personal information received from individual investors to provide them with the latest IR information by e-mail.
   4. (4) Tomen Devices uses the personal information received from job applicants for recruitment screening.
   5. (5) Tomen Devices uses the personal information received from its executives and employees (including part-time, casual and dispatch staff) for human resource labor management (including remuneration, health, safety and operations management).
2. Tomen Devices has established safety measures to prevent the loss, leak or falsification of acquired personal information, and manages the information appropriately.
3. Tomen Devices complies with laws and guidelines including the Act on the Protection of Personal Information in its handling of personal information.
4. Tomen Devices may outsource the handling of personal information. In cases where outsourcing takes place, Tomen Devices enters into agreements with the outsource companies and confirms the state of implementation of agreements with outsourcing companies, in order to ensure the appropriate handling of personal information.
5. To request to view, amend or erase personal information, please contact the responsible department of Tomen Devices listed below. The responsible department will take appropriate action without delay, upon confirmation of the identity of the individual concerned and under the direction of the person responsible for information management.
6. Tome Devices conducts training of its employees regarding appropriate handling of personal information and the company thoroughly ensures that personal information is handled appropriately.
